Isopropyl alcohol used in fountain solutions is the industry's chief source of greenhouse gas emissions as well as the unpleasant odour in printing plants. Most printers in Australia continue to use alcohol. Today, Moorabbin Printing is 98 per cent alcohol free with on going changes to eliminate alcohol 100 percent.
